Supervised Visitation Program

The family: a child’s most treasured resource

AMCAL Family Services: a family’s most valuable resource when challenges arise.

Families divided by divorce, custody and visitation issues, family breakdown—these are unfortunate facts of modern life. Fortunately, AMCAL offers a comprehensive Supervised Visitation Program (SVP) that provides a safe and supportive environment for families needing supervised access to their children. The goal of the program is to strengthen the parent-child bond by facilitating visits by parents, siblings, & other family members. AMCAL’s Visitation Supervisors, who are neutral third-parties, not involved in case management, are present for the visits, to observe & promote positive interactions.

In addition, AMCAL offers Visitation Exchanges for parents who are not allowed, or do not wish, to be in contact with each other.

Supervision des Droits d'Accès (SDA):

AMCAL has a contractual agreement with the Ministry of Health & Social Services (MSSS) to provide a supervised setting for Superior Court-mandated visits between parents and their children. Clients are referred by various Centres de Santé et de Services Sociaux (CSSS).
