About: Research that connects worried, anxious parents to the development of anxiety in children is robust, and the effectiveness of a family-based approach is also well-documented.  Schools, mental health professionals, and healthcare providers should offer family-focused care to their anxious clients.  This workshop describes in detail an approach that does just that.

Lynn describe herself as a HOW therapist. Just like the coach who taught you HOW to hit a backhand or the teacher that taught you HOW to multiply fractions, Lynn teaches helpful techniques. Therapy should show and teach people what to DO differently. The past most certainly can get in the way–even as it helps us understand the patterns that exist–but it needn’t define how we move into the future.
